Seminar-Can Nepal Realize its potential soon?

KCM invited Prof. Rajeev Malhotra, an eminent development economist and noted writer, to have a interactive session with the students on the topic “Can Nepal Realize its Potential Anytime Soon?; An Analysis of Policy Challenges and Prospect”. Mr. Malhotra has worked with the Government of India at the Planning Commission and at the Ministry of Finance, as the Economic Adviser to the Union Finance Minister. He has been a consultant to various world class organization and has bridged the world of academics and policy making both nationally and internationally.
The interaction was based on public policy and its importance. Public policy changed the way we live and improved the wellbeing. It empowered the students aspiration for expanding opportunities. Public policy is a collective effort. The discussion was for the profile change of young countries and focused on the windows of opportunities. It focused on youths need for being more accountable and transparent.
The seminar ended with the declaration of two scholarship for KCM graduates in the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy and a long lasting friendship between the two excelling educational institutes.
